Six men killed in a confined space accident at a Colorado dairy farm involving asphyxiation from gas exposure
Police, firefighters and paramedics responded about 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 20, 2025 the Southeast Weld Fire District in Keenesburg, Colorado was dispatched to a confined space rescue at a dairy located in the block of 32000 Weld County Road 18. Crews responded and took appropriate precautions to enter the confined space to perform rescue operations. Unfortunately, district personnel recovered six deceased individuals from the space, according to Fire Chief Tom Beach.
The fire district extended its condolences to the families of the victims.
