Settlement of C&S Wholesale Grocers against Kroger settled without public disclosure

Kroger will report fiscal year 2026 Q2 on September 11, 2025 -- the earnings for the period ending July 2025. FLASHBACK AUG 11 2025 ... Kroger and C&S Wholesale Grocers settled a lawsuit that C&S filed in March 2025 that claimed the Kroger owed C&S Wholesale Grocers a $125 million termination fee after the failed merger involving Kroger and Albertsons. Had the merger succeeded, C&S would have acquired nearly 600 supermarkets, access to private brands and other assets from Kroger and Albertsons, according to Grocery Dive.
