Northamptonshire (UK) Police intend to prosecute 12 motorists observed filming fatal crash aftermath while driving
Northamptonshire Police said 12 motorists were observed using mobile phones to film the aftermath of a crash on the M1 between Junction 14 and Junction 15. The individuals were subsequently sent notices of intended prosecution. Additionally, police said a 10 drivers were sent notices of intended prosecution in relation to failing to comply with a red X on the closed lane of the motorway. On the evening of May 3, a fatal collision involving the driver of a white van occurred on the southbound carriageway of the M1 between junctions 14 and 15.
