Photo released shows "UFO" downed by US fighter jet over Yukon, Canada days after Chinese spy craft incident in 2023
An image of an unidentified object shot down over Canada's Yukon territory in February 2023 by a NORAD-controlled SS F-22 fighter jet has been obtained was CTVNews.ca, and published on Wednesday, September 24, 2024. The image showed on of three objects shot down over Alaska, Yukon and Lake Huron between Feb. 10 and 12, 2023. The three objects were reportedly much smaller than the "school bus size" Chinese balloon. There are few deails about these smaller objects, and their is criticism regarding why it took so long to release the image. Text information associated with the image was highly redacted. The Sky Canada Project was launched in the Fall of 2022 to study how Unidentified Aerial Phenomena (UAP) reports from the public are managed in Canada and to recommend improvements.
