Authorities don't help, Studio City residents fight, then restrain USPS mail thief
A group of residents confronted and pepper-sprayed a suspected mail thief in orange jump suit-like clothing in Studio City, California. The residents, who had been experiencing mail theft after an offender stole a USPS postal employee's master key, tracked down the suspect after a failed attempt to get help from authorities. One resident, Timothy Brehmer, used pepper spray on the offender after the alleged thief attempted to swat his phone away, and then used a baseball bat to smash the offender's vehicle windshield. The offender then tried to flee on a scooter but was restrained by other residents.
