Ukraine report largest Russian surrender of the Ukraine-Russian conflict Wednesday August 14, 2024

As part of an invasion of the Kursk region of southwest Russia, the Ukraine military claimed surrender of 102 Russian soldiers -- the largest surrender of Russian soldiers since the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine in February 2022.

The retaliatory invasion by Ukraine that involved the surrender of 102 Russian soldiers also included Ukrainian control of 444 square miles, 82 villages and towns in Russian territory.
