REMINDER: White Coated Confectionery Items sold at Walmart, Target, Dollar General recalled due to salmonella poisoning risk

White Coated Confectionery Items connected to a "Class I" recall, which is "a situation in which there is a reasonable probability that the use of, or exposure to, a violative product will cause serious adverse health consequences or death," according to the FDA's website.  

No illnesses reported. Products have BEST BY DATES of late 20204 to 2025.

The recalled confectionary items were distributed nationwide in Walmart, HyVee, Target, Dollar General, and to distributors in Alabama, California, Florida, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Virginia, Wisconsin and Wyoming.
