Four people shot at Virginia State University campus

Chesterfield County Police Department and firefighters and paramedics responded about 12:36 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2024 to a report of a shooting on Boisseau Street outside Daniel Gymnasium at Virginia State University in Petersburg, Virginia. Police on arrival discovered four people shot. Victims were transported by paramedics with injuries initially believed to be non-life-threatening.
