NYPD officers beaten by young adults from migrant mob near Times Square: captured on video; suspects released without bail

An NYPD officer and NYPD lieutenant told migrants to move along around 8:30 p.m. Saturday, January 27, 2024 on West 42nd Street in Manhattan. The police officers absorbed multiple blows, including kicks to the head. The mob then fled down 42nd Street toward Seventh Avenue.

Police apprehended four suspects identified as Darwin Andres Gomez Izquiel, 19, Kelvin Servat Arocha, 19, Juarez Wilson, 21, and Yorman Reveron, 24.
