Brazil's former president Jair Bolsonaro accused of fraud involving his personal vaccine records
Allegedly, former Brazil President Jair Bolsonaro's vaccination records were falsified to suggest he was vaccinated against COVID-19 in Sao Paulo in July 2021. Allegedly, he was not in the city in July 2021. Bolonaro may be charged with crimes related to falsifying data in the country's public health system (SUS) and forming a criminal organization to evade public health rules.
Bolsonaro has already been ruled ineligible for re-relection until 2030 for spreading electoral misinformation during the 2022 election. Bolsonaro lost to President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva in the 2022 election.
