Michael Shellenberger report: Russia wanted Hillary Clinton for president in 2016, not Donald Trump as Intelligence Community described
The CIA knew Putin favored Clinton for president, but told the opposite story. Current members of the House Intelligence Committee up until today were unaware of a 50-page report that the CIA is hiding that proves that Russia favored Hillary Clinton, not Donald Trump for president in the 2016 election.
According to RacketNews (Matt Taibbi, Michael Shellenberger, Alex Gutentag), the Trump-Russia scandal made its formal launch on January 6th, 2017, when the office of the Director of National Intelligence James Clapper published what’s called an “Intelligence Community Assessment,” or “ICA” which framed Donald Trump as a Manchruian candidate controlled by Vladimir Putin, and also framed Russia as attempting to "denigrate" Hillary Clinton and "harm her electability".
According to Michael Shellenberger, the intelligence committee used the Steel Dossier (Trump–Russia dossier) to falsely claim that Putin wanted Trump for president while foreign allies allegedly spied on the Trump team.
The Steele Dossier was written from June to December 2016 and contains allegations of misconduct, conspiracy, and cooperation between Donald Trump's presidential campaign and the government of Russia prior to and during the 2016 election campaign.
Steele, a former head of the Russia Desk for British intelligence MI6, wrote the report for the private investigative firm Fusion GPS -- paid by Hillary Clinton's campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC).
John Brennan orchestrated a phony assessment of intelligence of Donald Trump, according Michael Shellenberger.
Actually Russia was concerned that Trump was erratic and of an unknown quantity.
Also from the July to September time frame, according to The Washington Post, CIA Director John Brennan had started an investigation with a secret task force "composed of several dozen analysts and officers from the CIA, the NSA and the FBI".
Brennan also created his own dossier of material documenting that "Russia was not only attempting to interfere in the 2016 election, they were doing so in order to elect Donald Trump. Brennan served in the Obama White House as Assistant to the President for Homeland Security between 2009 and 2013, and Obama nominated Brennan as CIA on January 7, 2013.
