Prepare-to-deploy orders issued on Monday, October 16, 2023. US troops located in the Middle East and outside the Middle East, including Europe could be deployed to served advising and medical support roles. Initially, no infantry has prepare-to-deploy orders. 

U.S.S. Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group has already joined the U.S.S. Gerald R. Ford in the eastern Mediterranean Sea.
