Rupert Murdoch officially stepping down from Fox Corp and News Corp in November 2023

Fox Corp. announced today, September 21, 2023 that Rupert Murdoch is stepping down as chairman of the board of Fox Corp. and News Corp. , and will be appointed chairman emeritus of each company. 

Lachlan Murdoch is set to become sole chairman of New Corp. and continue as Fox Corp. executive chair and CEO.
