Hunter Biden indicted by special counsel David Weiss on felony gun charges related to narcotic use

 Hunter Biden has been indicted on three counts connected to possession or transfer of possession of a gun while using narcotics or lying about using narcotics. Two counts involve Biden allegedly completing a transaction form that certified he wasn't using narcotics when he was. The third count alleges that he possessed a firearm while using a narcotic.

The maximum penalty could be 10 years for making a false statement on a Firearm Transaction Record.  The indictment alleges that on or about October 12, 2018 in the district of Delaware, the defendant Robert Hunter Biden in connection with the acquisition of a Colt Cobra 38SPL revolver firearm knowingly made a false and fictitious written statement, intended and likely to deceive that dealer with respect to a fact material to the lawfulness of the sale of the firearm.

According to the indictment Robert Hunter Biden provided a written statement on Form 4473 certifying he was not an unlawful user of, and addicted to, any stimulant, narcotic drug, and any other controlled substance, when in fact as he knew, that statement was false and fictitious.
