Hamas launches rockets toward Kerem Shalom, kills 3 IDF soldiers

IDF soldiers St.-Sgt. Tal Shavit, St.-Sgt. Ido Testa, and St.-Sgt. Ruben Marc Mordechai Assouline were killed in the Hamas rocket attack on the Kerem Shalom area near the Israel-Gaza border on Sunday, May 5, 2024. Ten injured people were transported to Soroka Medical Center in the attack, including three in serious condition. Kerem Shalom is located just southwest of the Gaza strip, and just south of the 1950 Armistice Agreement Line.
