Police believe Patrick Frazee murdered Kelsey Berreth at her home, but they have not determined a motive and her body still has not been found. Beaufort County Sheriff's Communications received a 911 call at 5:47 a.m. Friday February 15, 2019 reporting an animal attack on Indian Run Road in Pantego.   Beaufort County EMS and Paramedics arrived to find 77 year-old Brenda Hamilton of Pantego suffering from severe injuries as a result of the attack. Paramedics transported Brenda Hamilton to Vidant Pitt Hospital. Hamilton, a teacher at Pungo Christian Academy, died following the injuries, but the date of her death was not initially available. DNA testing ruled out any wild animals involved in the attack, and are investigating whether any domestic dogs may have attacked Brenda Hamilton. The attack was apparently not witnessed.
